Cinquantasei luoghi dislocati su tre percorsi da scoprire e visitare, con l’aiuto di oltre 600 studenti, per l’occasione guide turistiche, per conoscere la grande bellezza storica e culturale di Bitonto.
Il 20 e 21 maggio (sabato dalle 18.00 alle 22.00 e domenica dalle 10.00 alle 13.00 e dalle 16.30 alle 22.00), la città dell’ulivo ospita la V edizione di Bitonto Cortili Aperti.
L’evento, organizzato dall’Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane e dal Comune di Bitonto, rientra nelle “Giornate Nazionali A.D.S.I.”, promosse in tutta Italia, con il patrocinio del Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività culturali e del Turismo.
«Ringrazio l’A.D.S.I. per aver individuato Bitonto, già cinque anni fa, come sede degna di rappresentare la Puglia assieme a Lecce – ha dichiarato, durante la conferenza stampa presso il Palazzo della Città Metropolitana di Bari, il sindaco di Bitonto e vicesindaco metropolitano Michele Abbaticchio -. Anche quest’anno la nostra città risponderà con spirito di servizio».
Ancora una volta, dunque, Bitonto rappresenterà l’intera provincia in questa manifestazione, «esempio di sinergia tra pubblico e privato, partecipando alla sua riscoperta, alla conoscenza delle bellezze storiche e architettoniche di cui può farsi vanto» come sottolineato da Francesca Pietroforte, consigliere metropolitano e delegata in materia di “Beni Culturali e Attuazione del programma”.
Nella “due giorni”, infatti, si darà la possibilità ai turisti di visitare luoghi che, in quanto privati, non sono sempre accessibili.
«Le dimore storiche costituiscono identità della nostra terra e vanno tutelate – ha spiegato Piero Consiglio -. Da apprezzare è l’opera dei proprietari che, pur senza risorse, affrontano ingenti costi di manutenzione». Il vice presidente della Sezione Puglia dell’A.D.S.I. ha lodato la città dell’ulivo per l’attenzione ai suoi monumenti, frutto del buon lavoro delle amministrazioni che si sono susseguite e che hanno cercato e cercano di rivitalizzare il centro storico.
La caratteristica particolare di Bitonto Cortili Aperti è però la partecipazione degli studenti. «Sin dal primo anno, abbiamo voluto che i ciceroni della manifestazione fossero i ragazzi, preparati dai loro professori e delle associazioni del territorio che si occupano di arte – ha ricordato l’assessore al Marketing Territoriale del Comune di Bitonto, Rocco Mangini -. Una settimana dopo l’evento, gli stessi sono nominati “Sentinelle della bellezza”, un titolo che, non solo dà crediti formativi e sconti per gli spettacoli teatrali, ma ricorda loro di tutelare sempre il nostro patrimonio».
Gli stessi ragazzi aiuteranno anche il pubblico straniero a conoscere i palazzi bitontini grazie alle guide in lingua, quest’anno in inglese, francese, spagnolo, tedesco, polacco, albanese, arabo e cinese.
«Novità della V edizione sarà il coinvolgimento degli alunni, non solo dei licei e delle scuole superiori, ma anche delle scuole secondarie di primo grado – ha aggiunto Antonio Marchio de Marinis, consigliere A.D.S.I. -. Tutti loro saranno impegnati nei 56 luoghi visitabili. Una cifra grandiosa che rende Bitonto la città italiana con il maggior numero di siti aperti».
Quest’anno, inoltre, i visitatori potranno essere protagonisti. Come nella locandina della manifestazione (in cui è riprodotto in chiave moderna e bitontina “Il bacio” di Hayez), tutti potranno rappresentare un’opera d’arte famosa nei cortili e condividere la loro foto con l’hashtag #rivivilarte.
I palazzi saranno anche palcoscenico di alcuni eventi collaterali.
Tra gli altri, proprio il 20 maggio si inaugurerà presso Villa Sylos (o Contessa) “La cittadella del bambino”. «Si tratta della riproduzione della città, in cui i fanciulli potranno confrontarsi con la vita degli adulti: andare alla posta, in banca» hanno spiegato Abbaticchio e Mangini.
Per consentire a tutti d’inebriarsi d’arte in sicurezza, fondamentale sarà l’apporto degli uomini del comando della Polizia Municipale che, assieme alle associazioni di volontariato, presiederanno il territorio.
Il centro storico sarà inoltre chiuso al traffico. I turisti potranno parcheggiare la loro automobile nel Park & Ride di via Messeni, in via Lazzati o in piazza Ferdinando II di Borbone.
Dalla centrale piazza Marconi partiranno invece le navette gratuite verso i luoghi dell’itinerario “extramoenia”.
